2019 Spring 9

Red River Valley United's Spring soccer season is well underway, and despite the challenges of mother nature in April, we are off to a great start!

Our Recreational program has grown significantly, with over 350 players! Contributing to this growth is our second location at Centennial Elementary in South Fargo, and also our 'pay as you can' approach to removing ability to pay as a barrier to Rec soccer.

Our Academy program is providing aspiring young soccer stars with extra touches on the ball and great instruction from experienced soccer coaches on Monday evenings.

Our Travel Academy (for U9 & U10 players) has 3 girls teams & 3 boys teams, and they have got off to a busy start to the season! They have already travelled to play in the Bemidji Groundhog Tournament and played NDSA games in town; upcoming is a trip to Jamestown followed by more friendly games in Fargo.

Our Competitive (U11 to U17) program showed it is just that - competitive - by competing strongly at the NSC Spring Cup in early May in Blaine, MN. In the majority of age groups we had teams competing in the top bracket, and overall posted some great performances.

Our Coaches are showing their dedication to improving with 5 of them undertaking their National 'D' License course, instructed by our Director of Training & Development Shea Durham.

May 18th brings our International Football Friendlies to the Red River Valley - teams travelling from far & wide to take part in competitive games focussed on player development.

United to Serve projects will be coming soon as we help give back to this great community.

Spring has really kicked off, and it is a great time to be a part of the Wolfpack!
