RRV United Soccer Club

In October, there will be a transition of leadership for Red River Valley United. Mike Raum will step down as president and join the board. James Sipe will move from the board and become president. During the merger, Mike was clear that he wanted to stay on for a year and successfully lead the club through the transition which he has done. Below is a short message from Mike and James.

Dear members of RRV United Soccer Club:

In October, as part of a long-planned transition, I will finish my term as president of the club. James Sipe will be the new president of the club, and I am confident that the club will prosper under his leadership.

It has truly been my pleasure to serve as president of the club since the merger between West Fargo and FM United, and as president of West Fargo Soccer Club for the two years before that. While we have not always done everything perfectly, we have been totally committed to our dominant mission of “players first.”

I will remain on the board for another year. As always, you can contact me if you have anything you wish to discuss.

Thank you again for allowing me to serve in this capacity.

Michael Raum

Dear Wolfpack Families,

I want to thank each of you for your continued support. I assure you that the board and I will work tirelessly to provide your player(s) a great experience. Maintaining the traditions created by WF Soccer and FM United is critical to our future success. In the next couple of months, we will communicate our goals not only for the upcoming year, but create a vision of where we are going as a club. We will present this information at the AG meeting in January.

Lastly, I would like to thank Mike Raum for all that he has done. Mike's leadership at WF Soccer Club created a loyal following of principled families and this translated into a successful merger between WF Soccer Club and FM United. His personal sacrifice of time and effort to the club should be an inspiration to all of us. Too often, it is easy to sit on the outside and not be involved. Mike always stepped up. We are excited to have Mike stay on as a board member for the next year. Mike and his family will forever be considered a part of the Wolfpack.

Go Wolfpack!

Your truly,
James Sipe
