United Soccer Club is excited to announce some new staff members / positions as well an open position we are looking to fill.

Benjamin Eastwell: Director of Recreational Programs

We are pleased to add Benjamin Eastwell to the Wolfpack team as Director of Recreational Programs. Ben, from Norwich, England, moved to North Dakota in 2011 when he received an athletic scholarship to the University of Jamestown. Ben played soccer all four years and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. Ben also earned a Master of Sports Management degree from St. Cloud State University. He had the opportunity to play for Minnesota United FC in 2016 before moving to the Fargo area. Ben resides in Fargo with his wife. He plays for Dakota Fusion FC.

His passion for soccer and expertise in sports management will allow us to provide a great soccer experience for the FMWF community. He is committed to delivering our vision of a community based and 'player first' recreational program. The success of our program is having high quality and qualified people and Ben provides both."

 

Shea Durham, Director of Training and Development

We are excited to announce that Shea Durham has accepted the role of Director of Training and Development. Shea, who holds a US Soccer 'A' License as well as a National Youth License, has been coaching soccer in the FMWF area since 2009. Shea held the position of Assistant Director of Coaching at Red River Soccer Club through the transition to Tri-City, then accepted the Director of Coaching position after the merger. He then served as the Technical Director for North Dakota Soccer Association for the past 7 years. Before moving to Fargo, Shea was the Head Coach for the Jamestown High School boys and girls’ soccer teams, leading the girls to the 2009 state championship game. He was also an Assistant Coach at the University of Jamestown and Director of Coaching for Jamestown Soccer Club. Originally from Maple Valley, WA, Shea resides in Fargo with his wife, daughter, and two English Mastiffs. He is a science teacher at Dakota Memorial School and pursuing a Master’s in Education.

Message from Dave Pritchard, Executive Director: "United Soccer Club is committed to building a vision, structure and organization that provides a high-quality soccer experience to the community.  Having the right people involved and the right vision will allow us to deliver that experience.  Shea's background will allow him to bring best practices to the club."

 

Open Position: Club Administrator

As United SC grows and evolves, we now have an open position for a Club Administrator. Some duties and responsibilities include general office duties, managing club registration process, and club communication. For more details, interested applicants can email club@unitedscrrv.org.
